This will be our 8th year walking in support of our daughter, Mira, who was born 3 months premature (at just 28 weeks gestational age) and spent the first 2 months of her life in the NICU at Baptist Health.
Premature birth and its complications are the largest contributors to infant death in the United States and globally. We participate every year in March for Babies to support their mission of giving babies like Mira a healthy start in life. The funds we raise enable March of Dimes to support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference to families in our community and across the country.
Please consider supporting our team by buying a tshirt or making a direct donation to our family's March for Babies team in honor of our not-so-little-anymore preemie and all the other NICU graduates out there. We would also love for you to join us at the walk at Keeneland on May 22 if you are able to make it.
All shirts are $20; kid and adult sizes available. Once the order is complete, proceeds will be donated to the Team Zakharia fundraising page under the Greater Bluegrass March for Babies.
Order Deadline: All shirts must be ordered by the end of day on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
Shirts will be delivered the week of May 15.
